Bake vegan apple bread
As a passionate baker and a true apple lover, apple bread has long been a staple of my baking experiments in the kitchen. I find it works well as a sweet breakfast as well as a coffee cake or winter tea cake. With its fragrant cinnamon apple aroma, it not only invigorates the senses but also spreads coziness throughout the house.
Ingredients
- 1 kg apple
- 500 g sugar
- 1 l water
- 1 kg flour
- 1 Packet baking soda
- 1 TL cinnamon
- 100 g raisins

Directions
To bake vegan apple bread first peel, core and cut the apples into small pieces. My recommendation is not to cut the apples too finely, otherwise the texture of the bread will not be ideal.
In a large pot, bring the water to a boil with the sugar. Add the apple pieces and simmer on low until the apples are soft. I prefer not to cook the apples all the way to mush, so pleasant apple pieces remain in the bread.
Strain and collect the apple juice. Allow the apples to cool.
In a large bowl, mix well flour, baking powder, cinnamon, raisins, chopped nuts and lemon zest. After the apples have cooled, add them and knead everything well.
Divide the dough into two bread pans. Here it is worth using high-quality baking pans to achieve an even baking result.
Bake the bread in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 60 minutes. A stick test helps to make sure that the bread is really cooked through.
Eat the vegan apple bread best with some butter for breakfast or pure - if you like it sweet, with honey. A pleasure!
