Biscuits for children
Recipe for easy mug biscuits for children with butter.
Ingredients
- 1 mug Plain flour
- 1⁄2 mug sugar
- 1⁄2 mug soft butter
- 1 pcs egg
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- pinch of salt
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract

Directions
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. The dough will be ready quickly, so let the oven preheat while you knead the dough.
In a bowl, mix butter and sugar until smooth. I use my own method where I add the sugar to the soft butter, mix and then add the other ingredients. This way, the butter and sugar will blend perfectly and the cookies will have a uniform consistency.
Then add the egg and vanilla extract and mix thoroughly again. When adding the egg to the butter and sugar, it is important that the egg is room temperature.
Add the flour mixed with baking powder and salt. Then mix the dough, but not too long, so that the biscuits are not hard.
Cut out different shapes from the dough and place them on a baking sheet covered with baking paper.
Bake the biscuits in the oven for about 10 - 12 minutes, or until nicely golden brown. Let the biscuits cool after removing them from the oven, as they may be soft, but they will harden when they cool.
