Carrot and apple salad
I have prepared this salad many times for my family. I assure you that it is not only full of vitamins, but also extremely tasty. Perfect for breakfast or simple, healthy snacks for children.

Peel the carrots and apples.
On a coarse mesh grater grate the carrots and then the apples. You can also use a food processor with a suitable tip for this, this greatly reduces the preparation time.
Add lemon juice to grated carrots and apples. This will keep the apples from turning brown and give the salad a fresh taste.
Mix the salad and add honey to it. After these years of preparing this recipe, I have found that it is best to add the honey at the very end, then we will avoid the situation where the one at the beginning will sink to the bottom of the bowl.
You can sprinkle the salad with chives for extra flavor.
Serve immediately or chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes. In my experience, the salad gets even better flavor after chilling.
