Carrot cream
This delicious and tasty recipe for carrot cream from carrots has become one of my favorites. Not only is the soup delicious to taste, but I also appreciate it for its simplicity and quick preparation.
Ingredients
- 500 g carrots
- 1 a piece large onion
- 2 Cloves garlic
- 1 Spoons olive oil
- 800 ml vegetable broth
- salt and pepper

First, prepare the ingredients. Peel the carrots and cut them into smaller pieces. Finely chop the onion and garlic.
Heat the olive oil in a pot and fry the onion and garlic. In fact, we are forming the base of the soup. The onion should be sautéed until it starts to brown slightly, this will give it the right flavour.
Add the sliced carrots and roast them as well. Leave the carrots in the pan until they are soft.
Then pour the vegetable broth over the carrots and cook for about 20 minutes until soft.
Once the carrots are soft, blend the soup with an immersion blender until smooth. If you like a thicker consistency, add less water. Then season with salt and pepper.
