Easy Herby Fried Chicken Rissoles
Chicken Rissoles are a delicious and easy-to-make main dish that is popular in many households. These golden, crispy rissoles are full of flavor and perfect for a family dinner. They are a versatile dish that can be served with potatoes, salad, or your preferred side dish.
Ingredients
- 500 gms of minced chicken
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 egg
- 1 Cup of breadcrumbs
- 2 tbls of chopped fresh parsley
- 2 tbls of all-purpose flour
- salt and pepper to taste
- 3 tbls of olive oil
- 1 Cup of your preferred dipping sauce (optional)

Directions
In a large mixing bowl, combine the minced chicken, chopped onion, minced garlic, egg, breadcrumbs, and chopped parsley. Mix well until all components are thoroughly combined.
Season the mixture with salt and pepper according to taste, and mix again.
Form the mixture into small, flat rounds. Each should be about the size of a golf ball, then flatten them into patties.
Lightly dust each patty with the all-purpose flour. This will help create a nice, golden crust when cooking.
Heat the olive oil in a large frying pan over medium heat.
Cook the rissoles in the heated oil for approximately 5 to 6 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and chicken is cooked thoroughly.
Serve the chicken rissoles hot with your preferred dipping sauce, alongside your choice of side dishes.
