Goose Liver in Red Wine with Apple

- 500 g goose liver
- 750 ml red wine
- 2 a piece apple
- 1 a piece onion
- 3 Spoons butter
- 2 Spoon Solamyl
- salt
- pepper

1. Step
Melt the butter in a pan and fry the goose livers on both sides over medium heat. Then remove the livers and set them aside.
2. Step
Reduce the flame, add the sliced onion into the pan and roast it until golden.
3. Step
Add sliced apples to the pan and sauté them on both sides.
4. Step
Pour in the red wine and cook until the volume of wine is reduced by half.
5. Step
Return the goose liver to the pan and simmer everything together for 10 minutes.
6. Step
Mix the cornstarch in water and stir it into the pan. Stir everything together and cook for another 5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
7. Step
Season everything with salt and pepper before serving.
