Homemade Authentic Greek Chicken Gyro with Sauce

Ingredients
For the Chicken:
- 1 lb boneless chicken thighs
- 1⁄4 Cup olive oil
- 3 tbls lemon juice
- 2 teaspoons red wine vinegar
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic
- 2 teaspoons dried oregano
- Salt and freshly ground pepper, to taste
For the Sauce:
- 1 Cup white Greek yogurt
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt and pepper, to taste
For the Gyro:
- 4 pita breads
- 1 tomato, sliced
- 1 cucumber, sliced
- 1 small red onion, thinly sliced
- 1⁄2 Cup shredded lettuce

Begin by marinating the chicken. Combine the olive oil, lemon juice, red wine vinegar, minced garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Add the chicken thighs and toss well. Make sure all pieces are evenly coated. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes or overnight for better result.
Meanwhile, make the sauce. Mix Greek yogurt, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Cover and refrigerate until needed.
Now, preheat the grill or a skillet over medium-high heat.
