Ingredients
- 1 Cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon sugar

- 1 large Egg
- 2 tbls unsalted butter, melted
- Cooking spray or extra butter for greasing

In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
In another bowl, whisk together the buttermilk, egg, and melted butter.
Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until the batter is combined. Let it rest for 5 minutes. Don't worry if the batter is a little lumpy.
