Homemade hamburger buns
Chances are, this will be the best homemade burger bun you've ever had! Keep in mind that every oven cooks differently, so don't just rely on the clock for cooking time, but also on your own intuition.

- 350 g flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoon oil
- 20 g fresh yeast
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 2 dl Warm water

Start the recipe by boiling the fresh yeast with the sugar and warm water for about 10 minutes. To dissolve the yeast, it's best if your water is not too hot, but not too lukewarm either, because you need the right temperature for the yeast to work.
Meanwhile, in a large bowl, mix the flour and salt. Once the yeast has risen, pour it into the flour mixture, add the oil and mix well. You should get a slightly sticky, easy to shape dough.
Cover the dough with a kitchen towel and leave to rise in a warm place for about 1.5 hours. It is worth paying attention to the rising time, as this is what makes the burger buns really delicious and airy.
When the dough has risen, shape it into six equal buns and place them on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Let them rest for another 15 minutes, then bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 20-25 minutes. It's worth checking the colour in the meantime, if it's a nice golden brown it's perfect.
