How to make Moist & Fluffy Marble Cake
Marble Cake is a classic dessert that combines the flavors of chocolate and vanilla in a marbled pattern. This moist and fluffy cake makes for a treat for any occasion.
Ingredients
- 21⁄2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1 Cup butter
- 2 cups crystal sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 3⁄4 Cup milk
- 2 tbls cocoa
- 2 tbls water

Directions
Preheat your oven to 175 C. Grease and flour a 9-inch tube pan.
In a medium-sized bowl whisk the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
In a large bowl whisk softened butter and sugar with an electric whisk until fluffy.
Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each. Mix in the vanilla extract.
Gradually add the flour mixture to the creamed butter mixture, alternating with the milk. Begin and end with the flour mixture mixing just until combined after each addition.
In a separate small bowl, mix the cocoa powder and hot water together until smooth.
Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan. Add dollops of cocoa on top of the batter. Use a butter knife to gently swirl the cocoa mixture through the batter, creating a marble pattern.
Add the remaining batter on top and repeat the swirling process with the cocoa mixture.
Bake for approximately 1 hour or until a topick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 15 minutes, then carefully remove it from the pan and transfer it to a rack to cool completely.
Once cooled, slice and serve the delicious marble cake!
