Potato Dough Noodles
A classic Slovak recipe for homemade noodles made from potato dough. This recipe is easy to prepare and tastes excellent.

- 500 g Potatoes
- 200 g special fine flour
- 30 g butter
- 1 pcs egg
- 2 g salt

1. Step
Boil the potatoes in salty water, peel them, and while still hot, press them through a strainer.
2. Step
Add butter, eggs, all-purpose flour and salt to the mashed potatoes. Stir the mixture and knead into a smooth dough.
3. Step
From the dough, we form identical cylinders, which we cut into smaller pieces.
4. Step
We cook the pieces of dough in salted water for approximately 3 minutes.
5. Step
Drain the cooked noodles and serve with cocoa or poppy seeds.
