Potatoes as if from a campfire
This recipe is a real proof of how tasty dishes can be made from potatoes. They are extremely tasty, soft on the inside and have a crispy skin on the outside. The taste is reminiscent of potatoes roasted in a campfire.
Ingredients
- 8 pcs larger potatoes
- 2 spoons butter
- salt and pepper to taste
- A few sprigs of fresh rosemary (optional)
- Aluminum foil

Directions
Wash and dry the potatoes thoroughly. We do not peel them from the skin, because it is the skin that becomes crispy after baking, and the flesh retains its juiciness.
Wrap each potato separately with aluminum foil, making sure they are tightly sealed. This is very important, because the foil must retain all the heat inside the potato.
Then place them on the grill or preheated oven (temperature of 200 degrees).
Bake the potatoes for about 45 minutes. The baking time depends on the size of the potatoes. You can check if they are ready by piercing them with a fork - they should be soft.
After baking, carefully unwrap the potatoes from the foil (be careful, they are very hot). Cut them crosswise and lightly press them to open a little.
Put a piece of butter in each potato and sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste. If you like herbs, you can also add fresh rosemary.
