Quick & Easy Spicy Curry Salmon Slice
The Curry Salmon Slice is sure to entice your taste buds with its irresistible flavors and fragrant aroma. It combines tender salmon slices, bathed in exotic Indian spices, and cooked to perfection in a rich, hearty curry. This dish makes the perfect main course for a dinner party, or a cozy family dinner, paired with steamed rice or naan.
Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets
- 2 tbls of curry powder
- 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cups of coconut milk
- 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
- salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
- Lemon wedges, to serve

Start by seasoning the salmon fillets with salt, pepper, half the curry powder, and half the turmeric powder. Let it sit for ten minutes to marinate. Meanwhile, heat up the vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat, add the chopped onions and garlic, sauté until they become soft and translucent. Add the remaining curry and turmeric powder, stir for a few seconds until it’s fragrant. Pour in the coconut milk, stir well and bring the mixture to a boil. Then reduce the heat and let it simmer for a couple of minutes.
Now, add the marinated salmon fillets to the pan, and let it simmer in the curry sauce for about 10-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through. Make sure to flip the salmon half way through. Season with additional salt and pepper if needed.
Serve the curry salmon hot, garnished with fresh coriander and a squeeze of lemon juice.
