Simple Green Kale Banana Berry Smoothie
Awaken your senses with this refreshing and nutrient-dense Kale Smoothie. Packed with vitamins and essential minerals, this smoothie is an excellent choice for a healthy breakfast or a midday snack. Its vibrant green color and creamy texture make it a treat for the eyes as well as the palate.
Ingredients
- 2 cups of chopped kale, stems removed
- 1 banana, preferably frozen
- 1⁄2 Cup fresh or frozen mixed berries
- 1 Cup of almond milk (unsweetened)
- 2 tbls honey or to taste
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds, optional
- Ice cubes, if desired

Directions
Wash the kale thoroughly under running water and chop it roughly after removing the stems.
In a blender, add the chopped kale, ripe banana, mixed berries, and almond milk.
Blend on high until you get a smooth and creamy texture. If using ice cubes, add them now and blend again.
Add the honey and blend again briefly to mix it in. If using chia seeds, stir them in after pouring the smoothie into a glass for a little crunch and added nutrition.
Pour into glasses and serve immediately. Garnish with a few berries on top if desired.
