Directions
To make sausage soup, first peel the potatoes and cut them into small cubes. A tip from me: if you cut the potatoes into equal-sized pieces, they will cook more evenly and your soup will be perfect!
Then peel and dice the carrots and onions. Again, the tip with the size.
Heat the oil in a large pan and fry the onions until they are translucent. The longer you fry the onions, the more intense the flavor will be.
Now press in the garlic and sauté briefly, but be careful not to leave it too long or the garlic will become bitter.
Then add the diced potatoes and carrots. Stir everything well and fry briefly.
Cut the sausage into slices and add.
Cover everything with water, add the stock cubes and bring to the boil. I like to use stock cubes for more flavor, but you can also use homemade stock if you like.
Once the soup is boiling, reduce the heat and simmer for about 30 minutes until the potatoes and carrots are soft.
9. season the simple sausage soup with salt, pepper and marjoram and garnish with parsley before serving.
