Amazing Banana Cake with Best Cream Cheese Frosting

Ingredients
For the Banana Cake:
- 11⁄2 cups mashed bananas (about four ripe bananas)
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- 21⁄2 cups all-purpose flour
- 11⁄2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄2 Cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1⁄4 Cup vegetable oil
- 1 Cup crystal sugar
- 1⁄2 Cup packed light-brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 11⁄2 cups buttermilk
For the Cream Cheese Frosting:
- 1⁄2 Cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 Package cream cheese, softened
- 4 cups confectionery sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Directions
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease and flour a 9x13 pan.
In a small bowl, mix mashed banana with lemon juice, set aside.
In a medium bowl, mix flour, baking soda, and salt, set aside.
In a large bowl, cream butter, oil, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
Beat in the flour mixture alternately with the buttermilk until just combined.
Fold in the banana mixture.
Pour batter into prepared pan and smooth the top. Bake for 1 hour or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Remove from the oven and let the cake cool completely in the pan on a wire rack.
Cream the butter and cream cheese until smooth.
Beat in the powdered sugar in small amounts until fluffy and combined, then stir in the vanilla.
Spread the frosting over the cooled cake. Slice and serve.
