Ingredients
- 2 cans of tuna, drained
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 can of tomato sauce
- salt and pepper to taste
- olive oil
- 1 teaspoon of dried basil
- 1 teaspoon of dried oregano
- 400 gms of pasta (any variety)
- Grated Parmesan cheese for garnish

Directions
Begin by boiling a large pot of salted water for the pasta.
While waiting for the water to boil, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add the onions and garlic to the skillet and cook until the onions become translucent.
Next, add the drained tuna into the skillet. Break up the tuna into smaller chunks using a wooden spoon.
Pour in the tomato sauce and add salt, pepper, dried basil, and dried oregano. Stir all ingredients together and allow it to simmer for 10-15 minutes.
In the meantime, when the water reaches a boil, add the pasta and cook it according to the package instructions.
Once cooked, drain the pasta but reserve some of the pasta water.
Add the drained pasta into the skillet with the tuna sauce, stirring together to combine. If the sauce is too thick, add in small amounts of pasta water until desired consistency is reached.
Transfer to plates, sprinkle a generous amount of parmesan, and serve hot.
