Broccoli Sauce for Pasta
This broccoli sauce is ideal for pasta. It is rich in vitamins and will definitely please anyone who appreciates the distinct taste of broccoli.
Ingredients
Sauce
- 1 pcs broccoli
- 200 ml cooking cream
- 1 pcs onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Pasta
- 400 g Pasta (penne, fusilli, etc.)
- 2 l Water for cooking pasta
- 1 teaspoon salt

Directions
We clean the broccoli and cut it into smaller florets. We peel the onion and garlic and chop them finely.
Heat the olive oil in a pan, add the onion and garlic and sauté until the onion is golden.
Add the broccoli and sauté for about 5 more minutes. Then pour in the cream, season with salt and pepper, and simmer under the lid for 10 minutes.
In the meantime, boil the pasta al dente in salted water according to the instructions on the package.
We drain the cooked pasta and add it to the broccoli sauce in the pan. We mix everything together and leave it on the pan for a while, so the pasta can soak up the sauce.
Serve the finished broccoli sauce with pasta immediately. We can sprinkle with parmesan to taste. Bon appetit!
