Chocolate balls

Chocolate covered chocolate balls are synonymous for me with a true chocolate paradise. I've been making them for several years now, especially for holidays and celebrations.

Directions

35 min.
1. Step

Finely chop the dark chocolate and butter and place in a bowl set over a saucepan of water. This will create steam, which will slowly melt the chocolate and butter into a smooth mixture. It is important that the water does not touch the bottom of the bowl with the chocolate, and also that it does not boil.

2. Step

Once the chocolate and butter is melted, add the sugar and stir well. Then stir one egg into the mixture. If you use eggs from country hens, the balls will taste even better.

3. Step

Then add the ground walnuts and cocoa to the prepared mixture. Mix well and let cool in the fridge for about 2 hours.

4. Step

Remove from the fridge and use a small ladle to form small balls and place on a baking sheet with baking paper.

5. Step

Finally, melt the milk chocolate and roll our balls in it. Let them cool.
