Chocolate frosting for candy

I would like to share with you a recipe for chocolate candy coating that I have tried not only at Christmas, but also on other occasions such as birthdays and family celebrations. This recipe is very easy and effective, plus the resulting frosting has a very rich chocolate flavor.

Directions

15 min.
1. Step

First, prepare all the ingredients. I recommend using a good quality cooking chocolate to give the frosting flavor and crunch.

2. Step

Break the cooking chocolate into smaller pieces and place in a suitable container. I chose a smaller saucepan, which is ideal for gradually melting the chocolate.

3. Step

Add the butter, cream and honey to the chocolate.

4. Step

Slowly heat the ingredients over low heat and stir thoroughly. It is important not to increase the heat so that the chocolate does not burn.

5. Step

Once the glaze is smooth and lump-free, remove the saucepan from the heat. Let the frosting cool for a few minutes before applying it to the candy.

6. Step

If you find the icing too thick, you can add a little cream. On the other hand, if you want a thicker frosting, add a little butter.
