Classic Crispy Crunchy Chicken Tacos
These wonderful Crispy Chicken Tacos are perfect for a fun dinner or get-together with family and friends. Crunchy chicken pieces, mixed with various vegetables packed in soft tortilla wraps makes them an irresistible delicacy. The succulent tangy flavor of the cheese and salsa gives it an extra tasty kick!
Ingredients
- 500 g boneless chicken breast
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 9 small flour tortillas
- 1 Cup shredded lettuce
- 1 finely chopped medium onion
- 2 medium tomatoes, diced
- 1 Cup Shredded cheese
- 1⁄2 Cup sour cream
- 1⁄2 Cup salsa
- 1⁄2 Cup guacamole (optional)

Directions
Start by cutting 500g of boneless chicken breast into small pieces.
Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add the pieces of chicken, sprinkling them with salt, pepper, paprika, and cumin. Cook for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally until the chicken is thoroughly cooked and golden brown on each side.
While the chicken is cooking, prepare your vegetables. Chop 1 medium onion and 2 medium tomatoes, and shred enough lettuce to fill 1 cup.
Heat the tortillas in a pan over low heat or in the oven until they are warm.
Assemble your tacos by placing a handful of lettuce down the middle of each tortilla. Top the lettuce with the cooked chicken, followed by the onions and tomatoes.
Finish off with a sprinkle of shredded cheese and a spoonful of sour cream, salsa, and guacamole if you like.
Fold the tortilla in half and serve your delicious Mexican dish hot and enjoy your meal.
