Coffee vodka
I first prepared this coffee vodka for my friend's birthday party of a big coffee lover. I thought that the combination of two of his favorite things - coffee and vodka - would be the perfect gift. And I wasn't wrong! The coffee vodka made a splash at the party, and now it is a must-have addition to any get-together with friends. I think this recipe will appeal to any lover of strong coffee and good alcohol.
Ingredients
- 200 ml Freshly brewed strong coffee
- 1 l Vodkas
- 2 spoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

Directions
Start by preparing strong coffee.
Only after the coffee is brewed, while it is still hot, add the sugar and stir thoroughly to dissolve.
When the coffee with sugar has settled, add a vanilla stick or vanilla extract to it.
The next step is to combine coffee and vodka. Soak the kettle in which you will make the mixture in hot water beforehand, this way the alcohol will combine better with the coffee.
Mix everything thoroughly and put it into a clean bottle. The rule is that the bottle should be airtight.
Now all that remains is to wait. Coffee vodka should macerate for at least 2, and preferably 3 days in a dark and cool place. A useful trick is to shake the bottle gently every day.
After the required time, the vodka is ready to drink, but it's always a good idea to check if you like the taste. If it is too strong, you can add a little water or less caffeinated coffee, and if it is too weak, add more vodka.
