- 35 elderberry flowers
- 3 l water
- 2 velke lemons
- 1 kl citric acid
- 11⁄2 kg crystal sugar

Pour water over the flowers, add peeled lemons and let it rest for 24 hours. The next day, strain it, add sugar and citric acid. Heat and stir until sugar dissolves. Pour it into glass bottles.
