Cornflakes
I've made cornbread many times for my vegan friends, as it can be prepared in many different flavours. Simple and quick, ideal as a starter.
Ingredients
- 500 g cornflour
- 2 large egg
- 150 g grated cheese
- 2 tablespoon oil
- Salt, pepper to taste
- Spices (paprika, cumin) to taste

Directions
Take the cornflour and mix it with the grated cheese. It is advisable to choose a finely grated cheese, as it makes the dough easier to mix.
Then add the two eggs. It is important to use fresh eggs here, as the eggs give the dough its elasticity.
Season the pasta with salt, pepper and your chosen spices. Paprika and cumin are very good, but you can also use chilli or parsley instead.
Add the oil and knead the dough. If you find it too dry, you can add a little water.
Shape the dough into small patties and fry them on both sides in a hot pan.
Serve warm with fresh vegetables, yoghurt or avocado cream.
