Cut the dough into pieces.

2. Step

With your hands, form balls about 1 1/ inches in diameter. Allow to rise about 45 minutes.

3. Step

Deep-fry in canola oil until cooked through and brown, about to 4 minutes.

4. Step

Drain on paper towels, sprinkle with powdered sugar, and serve warm.
