Easy Homemade Moist Chocolate Cupcakes
These easy chocolate cupcakes are quick and simple to make, with a rich chocolate flavour. They're perfect for parties, celebrations, or even just an everyday sweet treat. Moist, fluffy, and filled with chocolatey goodness, they're sure to satisfy your sweet tooth.
Ingredients
Cupcake:
- 1 Cup of all-purpose flour
- 1⁄2 Cup of unsweetened cocoa powder
- 3⁄4 teaspoon of baking powder
- 1⁄2 teaspoon of baking soda
- 1⁄4 teaspoon of salt
- 1⁄2 Cup of granulated sugar
- 1⁄2 Cup of brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- 1⁄2 Cup of milk
- 1⁄4 Cup of vegetable oil
- 2 teaspoons of Vanilla Extract
Frosting:
- 1⁄2 Cup of unsalted butter
- 1⁄4 Cup of heavy cream
- 2 cups of powdered sugar
- 3⁄4 Cup of unsweetened cocoa powder

Directions
In a large bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
In another bowl, blend together the granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract until smooth.
Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring until well combined.
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with paper liners.
Spoon the mixture into the liners, filling them about 2/3 full.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let them cool completely before frosting.
In a large bowl, beat the butter until creamy.
Gradually add in the powdered sugar and cocoa powder, mixing until smooth.
Add the heavy cream gradually, beating until light and fluffy.
Pipe or spread the frosting onto the cooled cupcakes.
