Ingredients
- 3 Pounds beef chuck roast
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 Cup broth
- 1⁄2 Cup tomato paste
- 1⁄4 Cup brown sugar
- 1⁄4 Cup apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 tablespoon smoked paprika powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper

Directions
In a slow cooker, combine the onion and minced garlic.
In a bowl, whisk together the broth, tomato paste, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika powder, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
Place the beef in the slow cooker on top of the onions and garlic.
Pour the marinade over the beef, ensuring it is evenly coated.
Cover the slow cooker and cook on low heat for 8-10 hours or until the beef is tender and easily shreds with a fork.
Once cooked, remove the beef from the slow cooker and transfer it to a cutting board. Use two forks to shred it into smaller pieces.
Return the beef to the slow cooker and mix it with the juices. Allow to sit in slow cooker for an additional 30 minutes to absorb the flavors.
