Easy Tasty Japanese Teriyaki Salmon
Flavorful, easy-to-make, and delicious, our Teriyaki Salmon is a perfect and reasonably quick meal for anyone who loves a combination of sweet and savory tastes. It is healthful and pairs well with a number of side dishes.
Ingredients
- 4 Salmon fillets, skin on
- 1⁄2 Cup teriyaki sauce
- 2 tbls olive oil
- 1 tablespoon With
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
- 1⁄4 Cup green onions, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds

Directions
In a large bowl, combine teriyaki sauce, olive oil, honey, minced garlic and ginger. Mix well.
Add the salmon fillets to the bowl and turn to coat it evenly with the marinade. Rest the salmon in the marinade for 20 minutes, if time allows.
Preheat the grill over medium heat. Brush the grill with a little oil to prevent the salmon from sticking.
Remove the salmon from the marinade, letting the excess drip off. Place the salmon on the preheated grill, skin side down.
Grill the salmon for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until nicely charred and the fish flakes easily with a fork.
While the salmon grills, pour the left-over marinade into a small saucepan and bring to a simmer over medium heat. Cook for about 4-5 minutes or until the sauce reduces and thickens.
Drizzle the reduced sauce over the cooked salmon. Sprinkle with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
Serve the Teriyaki Salmon with warm rice and steamed vegetables.
