Garlic liquor
This is not a typical recipe you would want to try for taste, but for health. I'm sure that after the first time you try this magical, powerful and at the same time healthy tincture, you will always want to have a supply of it at home.
Ingredients
- 300 g garlic
- 1⁄2 l Spirit
- 1⁄2 l Waters

Directions
First, peel the garlic and finely chop it.
Put the sliced garlic in a jar, pour the spirit and close tightly. It is important to use pure spirit, which does not contain any additives, this guarantees the best taste.
Leave the jar in a dark place for about 3 weeks. During this time, the garlic will soak up the alcohol well and give back its healing properties.
After 3 weeks, strain and discard the garlic. Add honey and water to the tincture. Stir well so that the honey dissolves completely. I find that thick, natural honey is best - its sweetness contrasts softly with the strong flavor of garlic.
Pour the liquor into a dark bottle and store in a cool place.
Storing the tincture for several months will further enhance its flavor and aroma.
