Homemade Creamy Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo

Ingredients
- 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tbls olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 Cup heavy cream
- 2 cups whole milk
- 2 cups parmesan
- 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 300 g fettuccine pasta
- 2 tbls chopped fresh parsley, for garnishing

Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Cook chicken until golden brown and no longer pink in the center, approximately 5-7 minutes per side. Let it cool and then cut into slices.
In the same pan, add garlic and cook until fragrant.
Pour in the heavy cream and milk, bring to a simmer.
Slowly whisk in the Parmesan cheese and nutmeg and stir until the sauce has thickened.
Meanwhile, in a pot of boiling salted water, cook fettuccine according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain well.
Combine pasta and Alfredo sauce, toss till it's well coated.
Nicely arrange chicken slices on top of the coated pasta and garnish with parsley.
