1. Step

In a large bowl, combine the ground pork, scallions, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly to ensure the ingredients are well combined.

Lay out your wonton wrappers, and then place a small spoonful of the pork filling in the center of each wrapper.

Brush the edges of each wrapper with the beaten egg. This will act as your 'glue'.

Fold each wonton in half diagonally to create a triangle, pressing firmly along the edges to seal. Make sure there are no air pockets as this could cause your wontons to burst when boiled.

Once all the wontons have been filled and sealed, bring the chicken broth to boil in a large pot.

Carefully add the wontons into the boiling broth, and cook for about 5-7 minutes or until they float to the surface.

Using a slotted spoon, remove the wontons and drain well.

Serve the wontons hot, with soy sauce or any other dip of your choice.
