Mandarinos muffin

1. Step

First, melt the butter and set aside to cool. Meanwhile, wash the mandarins and grate the peel. Peel and chop the mandarins. In a bowl, mix the flour, sugar, vanilla sugar, baking powder and salt, then add the eggs, melted butter, milk and grated tangerine zest.

One helpful tip I would give here is to make sure you fill the muffin papers with teaspoons to evenly distribute the batter. This way, all the muffins will rise at the same time and will be uniform.

3. Step

Spoon the batter into muffin papers and top with the almond pieces. Bake the muffin tins in a preheated oven at 180°C for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
