Directions
Start by lining an 8-inch square baking tray with greaseproof paper or aluminum foil.
Break the digestive biscuits into pieces; keep them roughly chopped, not too small.
Now, take a large heavy-based pan, put in the butter along with the golden syrup and stir occasionally until fully melted.
Chop the milk chocolate into pieces and add it into the pan, stirring constantly until the mixture turns smooth and glossy.
Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the chopped biscuits and mixed nuts ensuring everything is well-coated in the chocolate mixture.
Pour this mixture into the prepared baking tray, spreading it evenly all around, and pressing down with the back of a spoon.
If you desire an extra chocolate kick, melt the white chocolate separately and drizzle it over the top. This is purely optional.
Allow the tray to cool at room temperature and then refrigerify for at least 2 hours to let it set.
Once it has hardened, cut it into squares or bars.
Your delicious Chocolate Crunch is ready to be served and enjoyed!
