Pear pie with cheesecake
This dessert is synonymous with autumn for me and its preparation is not only easy but also very fun. The creamy curd, juicy pears and crispy pastry create a perfect harmony of flavours that are guaranteed to please.
Ingredients
- 350 g Semi-coarse flour
- 200 g sugar
- 1 bal vanilla sugar
- 200 g butter
- 1 Spoon baking powder
- pinch of salt
- 2 pcs egg
- 4 pcs pears
- 500 g cottage cheese
- 1 Packaging custard powder
- 100 ml milk

Directions
First, prepare the dough. Sift the flour into a bowl, add the sugar, half the vanilla sugar, baking powder and a pinch of salt. Mix everything together and add the butter cut into pieces and one egg. Work into a smooth dough, which you wrap in cling film and leave to rest in the fridge for about 30 minutes.
Meanwhile, prepare the filling. In a large bowl, combine the cottage cheese, remaining sugar, eggs, the second part of the vanilla sugar and the custard powder and mix everything thoroughly until smooth. Peel the pears, cut out the cores and slice thinly.
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
Grease a cake tin and roll out the dough to form the bottom and edges. Spread the curd mixture evenly over it and lay the pear slices on top.
Bake the cake in a preheated oven for about 45 minutes until golden.
Let the pear cake with curd cool and then serve. It is great both warm and chilled.
