Ingredients
- 500 gms of pasta
- 200 gms of smoked trout
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 tbls of olive oil
- 1 Cup of Parmesan Cheese, grated
- salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh herbs for garnish (parsley, dill or thyme)

Directions
Cook the pasta in a large pot of boiling salted water according to package instructions until it's al dente. Drain and set aside.
While the pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, sauté until they become translucent and fragrant.
Flake the smoked trout into the pan with onions and garlic. Mix well and cook for a couple of minutes to allow flavors to blend.
Add the drained pasta to the pan. Stir it well so that pasta is evenly coated with the trout mix.
Remove from heat and stir in the Parmesan cheese. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
