1. Step
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Whisk the egg yolks with the sugar until frothy, then add the milk, the softened butter, the ground poppy seeds mixed with the flour and baking powder, and then fold in the egg white whites.
2. Step
I recommend adding the egg white whisk to the dough little by little to get a light, soft consistency.
3. Step
Pour the batter into a cake tin lined with baking paper, top with the sour cherries and bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 35-40 minutes.
