Potato balls
Potato balls are one of my favorite dishes. They are perfect for a snack or a side dish for meat or fish.
Ingredients
- 1 kg Potatoes
- 2 pcs Eggs
- 150 g potato flour
- salt and pepper to taste
- Frying oil

Wash the potatoes thoroughly, peel them and boil them softly in salted water. Gathered from my experience, I recommend grating the cooked potatoes on a fine-mesh grater to make a smooth potato mixture.
Add flour and eggs to the cooled potatoes, and then mix everything thoroughly. Everything should form an elastic mass that does not stick to your hands. If the mass will be too sticky you can add more flour.
Form small balls from the mixture (about 2 cm in diameter). This can be done quickly and easily by wetting your hands with water.
In a deep pot, heat the oil and fry the kczki over medium heat until they are golden and crispy. Remember not to fry them for too long, as they may become too hard.
Once the balls are fried, remove with a skimmer spoon and drain on a paper towel to remove excess fat.
