Romaine lettuce fried with chili
This dish is a combination of healthy, crunchy lettuce leaves with a spicy hint of chili. At my house, I first made it for a quick dinner when I wanted a light but not necessarily cool dish.
Ingredients
- 1 pcs Large head of romaine lettuce
- 1 teaspoon Olive oils
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 pcs Small chilli pepper
- salt and pepper to taste

Directions
Heat the oil in a frying pan.
In the meantime, wash the lettuce and dry it thoroughly.
Divide the lettuce into smaller pieces. Depending on your taste, these can be smaller or larger pieces.
In hot oil, fry finely chopped garlic - be sure not to brown it, as it will become bitter.
Add chopped chili peppers to the garlic.
Add lettuce to the pan. Fry it only for a moment, only 2-3 minutes. It needs to soften slightly, but remain crunchy.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serve warm.
