Simple and Delicious Macaroni Cheese Bake

- 1 Package macaroni
- 1⁄4 Cup butter
- 1⁄4 Cup flour
- 2 cups milk
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1⁄2 teaspoon garlic powder

- 1⁄2 Cup breadcrumbs
- 2 tbls melted butter

Directions
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
Cook the macaroni according to the package directions until tender.
In a pan, melt the butter over medium heat.
Add the flour and whisk continuously until smooth and bubbly.
Gradually pour in the milk, whisking constantly until the mixture is smooth and thick.
Add the shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper, and stir until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
Drain the cooked pasta and add it to the cheese sauce, stirring to combine.
Pour the macaroni and cheese into the prepared baking dish.
In a small bowl, combine the breadcrumbs and melted butter. Sprinkle the mixture evenly over the top of the macaroni.
Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
