Southern Fried healthy Crispy Chicken Burger

Ingredients
For the fried chicken:
- 4 boneless and skinless chicken breast halves
- 2 cups buttermilk
- 11⁄2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- salt and pepper to taste
- Vegetable oil for frying
For the sauce:
- 1⁄2 Cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon With
- 1 teaspoon paprika
To Serve:
- 4 brioche burger buns
- 8 pickle slices
- Lettuce leaves

Directions
Place the chicken breasts in a large bowl and cover with buttermilk. Chill for at least 30 minutes.
In a large bowl, combine flour, paprika, onion powder, cayenne, salt, and pepper.
Remove chicken from the buttermilk, allowing excess to drip off. Dredge each piece thoroughly in the flour mixture.
Heat the vegetable oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the chicken pieces and cook for about 4-6 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through. Allow the chicken to rest on a paper towel to drain any extra oil.
In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, honey, and paprika to make the sauce.
To assemble the burgers, spread the sauce on the bottom halves of the brioche buns. Top with lettuce, fried chicken, pickles, and then the top bun. Serve immediately and enjoy!
