Stuffing for croquettes with minced meat
This recipe for minced meat croquette stuffing is very popular in my family. I often prepare it for Christmas or festive dinners, but also as a quick meal for the weekend. Simple to make, yet tasty and filling - it is sure to appeal to both children and adults.
Ingredients
- 500 g Minced meat
- 1 pcs large onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 Eggs
- 4 spoons Breadcrumbs
- 1 spoon marjoram
- 1 spoon Salts
- 1 teaspoon pepper

Heat the oil in a frying pan, then add finely chopped onions and garlic - fry until they become glassy. This is a key moment, because it is the onion and garlic that give the stuffing its depth of flavor.
Add the ground meat to them and fry over medium heat, stirring frequently, until the meat turns brown. Remember that the meat should be well browned, but not burnt!
Transfer everything to a larger bowl, add eggs, bread crumbs, marjoram, salt and pepper. Mix everything thoroughly. If the stuffing seems too dry, go ahead and add another egg. This will help keep the shape of the croquettes.
Leave the finished stuffing in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes so that the ingredients combine well. During this time you can prepare the dough for the croquettes.
