- 1 Cup of granulated sugar
- 1⁄2 Cup of butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 4 ripe bananas, mashed

- 11⁄2 cups of all-purpose flour
- 1⁄2 teaspoon of baking soda
- 1⁄4 teaspoon of salt
- 1⁄2 Cup of sour cream

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Butter a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan.
In a large bowl, add the melted butter and sugar. Stir until well combined.
Add the eggs, one at a time, followed by the mashed bananas and vanilla extract.
In another bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt. Stir these dry ingredients into the banana mixture until just combined.
