- 1 kg chicken breast
- 300 ml buttermilk
- 1⁄2 teaspoon white pepper
- 2 teaspoon all seasoning
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt
- 2 teaspoon paprika powder
- 1⁄2 teaspoon nutmeg powder
Flour mixture
- 4 cups self-rising flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon white pepper
- 1⁄2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 11⁄2 garlic salt
- 1⁄2 teaspoon mixed herbs
- 21⁄2 onion granules
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg powder
- 3 teaspoon paprika powder
- 1 bowl cold water

1. Step
Wash and cut the chicken breast into long strips. Drain.
2. Step
In a large bowl combine all the ingredients together to marinate the chicken.

Coat well the chicken with it.

Cover with a cling film and let it sit in the fridge for 2 hours.

Remove the bowl from the fridge 30 min before frying.

Mix the flour with the spices.

Pour cold water into a bowl.

In a frying pan pour the oil and heat it.
9. Step
Coat the chicken in the flour, then in water and again into the flour.
10. Step
Deep fry the chicken for 6-8 minutes.

Remove and serve hot with chips and garlic or ketchup.
