Tomato Soup from Whole Tomatoes
Delicious and simple soup made from whole tomatoes. This recipe is ideal for anyone who likes healthy and homemade food.
Ingredients
- 6 pcs ripe tomatoes
- 1 pcs large onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 l vegetable broth
- 2 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 ts sugar
- 1 ts salt
- 1 ts ground black pepper
- 2 tablespoon fresh basil

Directions
First, prepare all the necessary ingredients.
Wash the tomatoes and cut them into quarters.
Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic.
Heat the olive oil in a pan and add the onion and garlic. Sauté until the onion is translucent.
Add the chopped tomatoes, salt, sugar, and ground black pepper. Saute the tomatoes until they are soft and juicy.
Transfer the tomatoes into a pot with broth and bring to a boil. Cook for 10 minutes.
After cooking the soup, remove it from the heat and add fresh basil.
Blend the soup smooth with a blender.
Bring the soup back to the boil, and if necessary, season to taste.
Serve it warm garnished with basil.
