Best Pulled Beef in Slow Cooker
This tender and flavorful pulled beef in a slow cooker is the perfect dish for any occasion. Slowly cooked to perfection, the beef becomes juicy and falls apart effortlessly. Serve it on a bun, over rice, or in tacos for a delicious and comforting meal.
Ingredients
- 3 Pounds beef chuck roast
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 onion, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 Cup broth
- 1⁄2 Cup barbecue sauce
- 1⁄4 Cup brown sugar
- 2 tbls Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon Chilli Powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste

Directions
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the beef chuck roast on all sides until browned. Transfer the roast to the slow cooker.
In the skillet, sauté the onion and garlic until fragrant and lightly caramelized. Add them to the slow cooker.
In a mixing bowl, combine the broth, barbecue sauce, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, chilli powder, salt, and pepper. Stir well to combine.
Pour the sauce mixture over the beef in the slow cooker.
Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 8-10 hours or on high for 4-6 hours, until the beef is tender and easily shred with a fork.
Carefully remove the beef from the slow cooker and shred it using two forks.
Return the shredded beef to the slow cooker and mix it with the sauce.
