Black Elderberry Syrup
This refreshing summer drink contains all the vitamins and antioxidants that black elderberries offer. It is perfect for cooling down on hot summer days.

- 1 kg Black elderberry fruits
- 1⁄2 litres water
- 1 kg sugar
- 1 piece Cordon

1. Step
Rinse the black elderberries and let them drain.
2. Step
Put the fruits of black elder into a pot, add water and let it cook for 10 minutes.
3. Step
After 10 minutes, add sugar and continue cooking for another 10 minutes.
4. Step
Add lemon juice and cook for another 5 minutes.
5. Step
Strain the finished syrup and pour into sterile bottles. Close the bottles and let them cool down.
