Cherry Jam
Cherry jam, for the preparation of which you will need fresh cherries, sugar, and lemon juice. This aromatic and sweet jam is excellent for baking, preparing desserts, or simply spreading on breakfast toast.

- 1 kg cherries
- 800 g sugar
- 2 ts lemon juice

1. Step
Remove the pits and skins from the cherries and put them into the pot.
2. Step
Add sugar and lemon juice and bring to a boil under a lid.
3. Step
When the mixture in the pot is boiling, lower the heat and simmer for another 30 minutes to an hour, until you achieve the desired consistency. Cooking too long will give you a harder jam.
4. Step
You can pour the finished jam into sterilized jars. Close them and let them cool down.
5. Step
Store the jam in the refrigerator after opening. Unopened, it can last for several months.
