Chicken in Mustard Sauce
A simple and tasty recipe for chicken in mustard sauce. This dish is great for any occasion.
Ingredients
Chicken meat
- 4 pcs chicken breast
- 2 spoons vegetable oil
Mustard sauce
- 100 ml cooking cream
- 3 spoons mustard
- 1 piece onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt

Directions
Preheat the oven to 180 °C. Fry the chicken breasts in vegetable oil on both sides until they are golden brown. Then transfer the chicken to a roasting pan.
On the pan where you roasted the chicken, sauté finely chopped onion and garlic cloves until the onion becomes slightly golden.
Add the cooking cream, mustard, salt and ground black pepper to the frying pan. Let the sauce simmer on medium heat for about 5 minutes until it thickens a bit.
Pour the sauce over the chicken breasts in the baking dish. Put the dish into the preheated oven and bake for approximately 15 - 20 minutes.
Serve the chicken hot, drizzled with mustard sauce. You can use rice or potatoes as a side dish.
