Delicious Cream of Broccoli Cream Thermomix
This cream of broccoli soup in the Thermomix is one of my favorites when it comes to nourishing and comforting soups. The creaminess and intense flavor of broccoli combine beautifully in this recipe, creating a dish that serves as both an appetizer and a main entrée. I first prepared it a few years ago and since then it has become a must-have dish for my family.
Ingredients
- 500 g broccoli
- 1 onion
- 1 potato
- 50 g of olive oil
- 1 liter of vegetable stock
- salt and pepper to taste

Directions
First, cut the broccoli into small pieces and the onion and potato into larger pieces. Note that you don't need to be perfect with the size of your chunks. Thanks to the Thermomix, everything will blend together perfectly.
Next, add the onion and olive oil to the Thermomix mixing bowl and program it for 5 minutes, varoma temperature, speed 4. This stir-frying technique helps to release the flavors of the onion, which gives the cream additional flavor.
Add the broccoli and potato to the glass and program 10 minutes, Varoma temperature, speed 1. This is when the broccoli really starts to release its flavor and combines with the fried onion.
Add the vegetable stock and program 20 minutes, 100 degrees, speed 1. With this step, the mixture becomes attractively smooth.
Finally, set the speed to progressive 5-10 for 1 minute. This trick ensures that all the ingredients are thoroughly mixed and acquire a smooth and creamy texture.
Serve the cream hot and you can adjust the flavor with salt and pepper to taste.
