Homemade Butter
This recipe will teach you how to make homemade butter from simple ingredients and without the need for complex equipment. Homemade butter is tasty and healthier than store-bought. Plus, the process of making it is very rewarding!

- 500 ml sour cream

Put the cream into a clean glass and cover it tightly.
Leave the glass at room temperature for 6-8 hours to sour the cream.
After the cream sours, put it in the refrigerator for 12 hours.
After 12 hours in the refrigerator, take the glass and start shaking it vigorously. This process should take about 15-20 minutes.
You will know when the butter is done when pieces of solid butter begin to appear in the jar.
Put the finished butter into a sieve and let it drain. Set aside the liquid (buttermilk) which can be used in other recipes.
Put the butter in cold water and stir to remove any remaining buttermilk residues. Repeat this operation until the water is clear.
Take the butter, put it in a container and press it firmly. The butter is now ready for use!
